Sweety House Café
For those who live in Muar, Johor, you will find it quite unusual to see a pink café with Hello Kitty décor. Whoever who loves Hello Kitty, will fall in love with this café. The Hello Kitty Sweetie Café is also located in other countries like Taiwan and Japan (of course!). All the furnitures and décor in the café follows the Hello Kitty theme. Your children will definitely be jumping with joy to see food that is shaped into the popular Japanese cat character.

Tenshi no Café
This is a café especially dedicated to those who love Japanese anime. All the waitresses (known as maid) are dressed in pink uniforms and look like cosplay characters. From far, you can see that Tenshi no Café is pink in colour, with white window frames and white furniture. They serve modern Japanese food like curry spaghetti, bento sets and desserts.

TBowl Concept Restaurant
If you’re travelling to Penang, you should pay a visit to the TBowl Concept restaurant in Queensbay Mall. This restaurant is rather funny because its food and décor are inspired by toilet. Therefore, not everyone fancies this place, but it has been a hit since it opened in 2008. Till today, the restaurant is usually pack during the weekend. You can order a variety of Asian fusion food served in ‘interesting’ utensils.

V1 Concept Bar & Restaurant
For guys who love cars, V1 Concept Bar and Restaurant is the place to be. Car seats are no longer found in cars only, but also in this restaurant. Even the floor is made to look like a real road for racers to race on. What’s more, a replicated sports car sits in the restaurant, giving you the opportunity to take some memorable photos. You can also order your food through an iPad instead of waiting for a waiter/waitress to take your order.

Charlie Brown Café
Do you still remember ‘Snoopy’? Well, Charlie Brown, Snoopy’s owner actually has his ‘own’ café! The Charlie Brown café is located in the Straits Quay Mall, Penang. Like the Hello Kitty café, every inch of this restaurants in inspired by the cartoon itself. Order a cup of Charlie Brown’s coffee while you enjoy your stress-free day. Children will definitely love to take photos with the figurines of the cartoon characters.
